Chronology
Put history back in order, one event at a time
About the game
Chronology asks one question over and over, and it turns out to be a deep one: did this happen before or after that? You draw an event and slot it into a growing timeline — no multiple choice, no four options to eliminate between.
The difficulty is emergent. An empty timeline is trivial; a timeline with fourteen events on it forces you to reason about a century you only half remember. Every placement narrows the next one.
It grew out of the same historical question bank that powers Battle of Geniuses, reshaped around ordering rather than recall.

What makes it work
One rule, endless depth
Place the event in the right year. Everything hard about the game comes out of that.
A timeline that fights back
Each correct placement leaves less room for the next. Late-run decisions are the real test.
Learn by being wrong
Misses show you where the event actually sat — the correction is the lesson.
Centuries of events
Drawn from the curated historical bank behind our trivia titles.
Publishing, partnerships,
or a very specific data question.
We read everything that arrives at the studio inbox — user acquisition, publishing, licensing our question bank, or getting early access to the analytics platform.
